FELfest is a celebration of one year of Feminist Evolution with an event where anyone interested in feminism – experienced or novice - has the opportunity to meet one another and network. This year we will “Mind The Gap” by exploring gender gaps in the workplace, education, and relationships. Through workshops, speakers, and a borrel, this event will foster discussion to develop concrete ideas on how to address those issues which manifest themselves in our daily lives.

Developing three workshops throughout an afternoon and inviting one ‘headliner’ to speak about feminist relationships - in the workplace, university, and at home - we will utilise this event to raise awareness of the gaps which exist between traditionally binary genders (and are exacerbated through intersectional oppressions) and come up with tangible ways to begin conversations so we can evolve past these disparities. The goal is removing taboo, educating, and sharing stories.
