Ali recently completed her MA in History: Cities, Migration and Global Interdependence at Leiden University. Coming from the US, Ali was active in feminist movements and marches throughout her undergraduate programme in San Francisco and during her semester abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As one of five sisters (seven if you include the dogs) in her family, she has grown up surrounded by strong women each expressing their feminism in a distinct way. Fortunate enough to have worked in political environments where Feminism was a central goal, Ali has developed a deep understanding of the nuances needed to establish successful dialogue and collaboration in achieving goals. She is passionate about sexual liberation, closing the wage gap, and making sure feminist dialogue is accessible to everyone.
